Black and white portrait photography केवल किसी colour photograph को black and white में बदलने का तरीका नहीं है। इसमें Light, Shadow, Contrast, Composition और Facial Expressions को समझना जरूरी होता है। सही lighting और contrast के माध्यम से portrait में depth और mood को बेहतर तरीके से दिखाया जा सकता है।
PIWF Institute में आयोजित Live Photography Class के दौरान students ने Black and White Portrait Photography को practical तरीके से समझा। इस class का उद्देश्य केवल camera settings की जानकारी देना नहीं था, बल्कि students को camera के साथ वास्तविक shooting का अनुभव देना था।
Practical Learning in Black and White Portrait Photography
Class के दौरान students ने Light Direction & Placement पर practical काम किया। उन्होंने समझा कि subject पर light किस direction से आ रही है और उसकी placement portrait के overall look को किस तरह प्रभावित करती है।
इसके साथ Highlight और Shadow Control पर भी ध्यान दिया गया। Black and white photography में colours मौजूद नहीं होते, इसलिए highlights और shadows image की appearance में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। Students ने High Contrast Black and White Look बनाने का भी अभ्यास किया।
Portrait photography में Posing और Face Angle भी महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं। इसलिए students ने अलग-अलग poses और face angles के साथ shooting की, ताकि portrait में subject के features और expressions को बेहतर तरीके से capture किया जा सके।
Focus, Exposure and Light Control
Black and White Portrait Photography में Focus और Exposure का सही control image की quality को प्रभावित करता है। Live class में students ने इन settings को practical shooting के दौरान समझा और अलग-अलग situations में उनका उपयोग किया।
Class में यह भी समझाया गया कि Light केवल subject को रोशन करने के लिए नहीं होती। सही Light के माध्यम से portrait में Depth और Mood बनाया जा सकता है। Light और Shadow के बीच सही balance image को अधिक clear और expressive बना सकता है।
Students ने Wide Portrait से लेकर Close-up और Detail Shots तक अलग-अलग framing पर भी अभ्यास किया। इससे उन्हें समझ आया कि camera distance और framing बदलने से portrait का visual effect भी बदल जाता है।
Practical Photography Learning
इस Live Photography Class का मुख्य उद्देश्य theory को practical learning से जोड़ना था। Students ने camera हाथ में लेकर खुद photographs capture कीं। Shooting के दौरान हुई mistakes को समझाया गया और उसी समय उन्हें improve करने का अवसर दिया गया।
इस तरह की practical learning students को photography concepts को वास्तविक shooting situation में समझने में मदद करती है। केवल camera settings पढ़ने के बजाय जब students खुद shoot करते हैं, तो उन्हें Light, Exposure, Focus, Shadow और Composition के बीच का संबंध अधिक स्पष्ट रूप से समझ आता है।
हर अच्छी तस्वीर की शुरुआत केवल Camera से नहीं, बल्कि Light को समझने से होती है।
Photography Training at PIWF Institute
PIWF Institute में Photography, Cinematography और Video Editing से जुड़े practical sessions के माध्यम से students को technical knowledge के साथ shooting experience देने पर ध्यान दिया जाता है।
यह Black and White Portrait Photography Live Class भी इसी practical learning approach का हिस्सा थी, जहाँ students ने Light, Shadow, Contrast, Posing और Camera Control को shooting के माध्यम से समझा।
