Mentor: Amit Kumar Singh (Filmmaker)
Institute: Coltrast under PIWF Institute

At Coltrast, we believe portrait photography is not just about capturing a face but expressing emotion, attitude, and personality through lighting, pose, and composition. Under the creative guidance of Amit Kumar Singh, these portrait shoots exemplify modern cinematic portrait styling combined with fashion aesthetics.

Mentorship Insight: Amit Kumar Singh’s Teaching
“In portrait photography, light is not just exposure — it’s an emotion. Your pose shapes your story, but lighting defines its mood.”
— Amit Kumar Singh (Filmmaker & Mentor, Coltrast)
Students learned how even simple poses become striking when styled and lit correctly. This is a vital lesson for both commercial and creative portrait work.
Conclusion:
Coltrast’s portrait photography module isn’t about textbook rules. It’s about visual storytelling through confidence, pose, and cinematic lighting.
