Exploring Different Bridal Shoot Poses
हर bride का expression और personality अलग होती है, इसलिए हर photograph के लिए एक ही pose काम नहीं करता। इस shoot में traditional poses के साथ अलग hand positions, face angles, close-up portraits और natural expressions को explore किया गया।
कुछ frames में jewellery और saree की detailing को highlight किया गया, जबकि कुछ photographs में bride के चेहरे और expressions को main subject रखा गया। इससे students को यह समझने में मदद मिली कि pose को केवल body position की तरह नहीं, बल्कि पूरी composition के हिस्से के रूप में देखना चाहिए।

Warm Light bridal photography में एक soft और rich atmosphere create कर सकती है। Traditional saree और jewellery के साथ warm tones ने photographs को एक Royal और elegant feel दिया।

Photography में केवल camera settings जानना पर्याप्त नहीं है। एक photographer को यह भी समझना पड़ता है कि light subject पर किस angle से पड़ रही है, shadow कहाँ बन रही है और frame में subject को किस position पर रखना बेहतर रहेगा।

जब परंपरा, प्रेम और मंदिर की दिव्यता एक ही frame में मिलते हैं, तो तस्वीर सिर्फ एक photograph नहीं रहती, बल्कि एक कहानी बन जाती है। इसी सोच के साथ PIWF Institute के Photography Assignment में students ने Bride & Groom Traditional Shoot in Patna किया।
यह traditional shoot Ardhanarishvara Temple, Chandasi, Patna, Bihar में किया गया, जहाँ मंदिर की भव्यता और पारंपरिक wedding look ने पूरे shoot को एक खास भाव दिया। Bride के traditional red look और Groom के elegant white attire को मंदिर के वातावरण के साथ frame करते हुए students ने हर photograph में प्रेम, परंपरा और भारतीय संस्कृति को capture करने का प्रयास किया।
Photography Practice
इस assignment में students ने केवल photographs capture नहीं किए, बल्कि wide shots, composition, perspective और location storytelling पर भी practical practice की। कोशिश रही कि हर frame में Bride और Groom के wedding emotions के साथ भारतीय संस्कृति और मंदिर की दिव्यता भी दिखाई दे।
इस Traditional Bride and Groom Photography के लिए Nikon Z8 camera का उपयोग किया गया। Temple architecture और couple को एक frame में balance करते हुए students ने अलग-अलग perspectives से photography को समझा।
Location Storytelling
किसी भी location पर photography करते समय केवल subject पर focus करना पर्याप्त नहीं होता। Location की पहचान और surrounding elements भी photograph की कहानी का हिस्सा बनते हैं। इस shoot में मंदिर की architecture, traditional outfits और couple expressions को साथ रखकर एक natural wedding story create करने का प्रयास किया गया।
Photography में सिर्फ Subject को रोशन करना ही काफी नहीं है। सही Light Design in Photography से एक simple frame में mood, depth और emotion create किए जा सकते हैं। PIWF Institute में आयोजित इस special cinematic light design session में students ने practical तरीके से lighting को समझा और use किया।
What Students Learned
इस live session में students ने Light Direction & Placement, Key Light, Fill Light और Back/Rim Light के बारे में सीखा। इसके साथ Highlight और Shadow Control, Warm Tone, Colour Temperature और Low-Key Cinematic Lighting पर भी practical work किया गया।
Students ने यह भी सीखा कि Bridal Portrait Lighting में light को किस तरह place किया जाए ताकि portrait में depth और cinematic feel दिखाई दे। Camera Exposure और Light Balance को सही रखना भी session का एक important हिस्सा रहा।
Creating Mood Through Light
एक अच्छी photograph में light केवल brightness नहीं देती, बल्कि mood और story भी बनाती है। जब photographer को पता होता है कि Light कहाँ से आएगी, कितनी intensity में होगी और Shadow कहाँ बनेगी, तब एक normal location को भी cinematic frame में बदला जा सकता है।
इस Photography Lighting Class का उद्देश्य students को केवल lights लगाना सिखाना नहीं था, बल्कि उन्हें light को observe और understand करना सिखाना था।

आज PIWF Institute, Patna में Bride and Groom Photography का एक Live Practical Assignment Session आयोजित किया गया। इस session में students ने केवल couple poses की practice नहीं की, बल्कि Action, Composition, Lighting और Emotion को एक साथ समझने का प्रयास किया।
Assignment के दौरान students ने अलग-अलग photography setups पर practical work किया, जिसमें Profile, Foreground–Background, Back-to-Back, Low-Key Romantic Close Pose और Shadow Portrait शामिल थे। इन activities के माध्यम से students ने सीखा कि एक wedding portrait को बेहतर बनाने के लिए केवल pose ही नहीं, बल्कि light, framing और subject movement पर भी ध्यान देना जरूरी है।
इस practical session का मुख्य focus था—“Couple को सिर्फ pose मत कराइए, उन्हें Action दीजिए.” जब action, light और emotion सही तरीके से combine होते हैं, तब एक simple wedding portrait भी एक कहानी को visually express कर सकता है।
Mentor and Equipment
इस Bride and Groom Photography Assignment को Amit Kumar Singh ने mentor किया। Practical session में Nikon ZR camera और 50mm f/1.4 lens का उपयोग किया गया। Costume jewellery और makeup के लिए Banibandana Raiganj का सहयोग रहा।
इस तरह के practical assignments students को classroom theory को real shooting situations से जोड़ने में मदद करते हैं। Photography सीखते समय ऐसे hands-on sessions composition, lighting और creative decision-making को समझने का अवसर देते हैं।
Upcoming Batch at PIWF Institute
PIWF Institute का अगला batch 1 October 2026 से शुरू हो रहा है। यहाँ students को Photography, Cinematography और Video Editing में practical learning का अवसर मिलता है।
Black and white portrait photography केवल किसी colour photograph को black and white में बदलने का तरीका नहीं है। इसमें Light, Shadow, Contrast, Composition और Facial Expressions को समझना जरूरी होता है। सही lighting और contrast के माध्यम से portrait में depth और mood को बेहतर तरीके से दिखाया जा सकता है।
PIWF Institute में आयोजित Live Photography Class के दौरान students ने Black and White Portrait Photography को practical तरीके से समझा। इस class का उद्देश्य केवल camera settings की जानकारी देना नहीं था, बल्कि students को camera के साथ वास्तविक shooting का अनुभव देना था।
Practical Learning in Black and White Portrait Photography
Class के दौरान students ने Light Direction & Placement पर practical काम किया। उन्होंने समझा कि subject पर light किस direction से आ रही है और उसकी placement portrait के overall look को किस तरह प्रभावित करती है।
इसके साथ Highlight और Shadow Control पर भी ध्यान दिया गया। Black and white photography में colours मौजूद नहीं होते, इसलिए highlights और shadows image की appearance में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं। Students ने High Contrast Black and White Look बनाने का भी अभ्यास किया।
Portrait photography में Posing और Face Angle भी महत्वपूर्ण होते हैं। इसलिए students ने अलग-अलग poses और face angles के साथ shooting की, ताकि portrait में subject के features और expressions को बेहतर तरीके से capture किया जा सके।
Focus, Exposure and Light Control
Black and White Portrait Photography में Focus और Exposure का सही control image की quality को प्रभावित करता है। Live class में students ने इन settings को practical shooting के दौरान समझा और अलग-अलग situations में उनका उपयोग किया।
Class में यह भी समझाया गया कि Light केवल subject को रोशन करने के लिए नहीं होती। सही Light के माध्यम से portrait में Depth और Mood बनाया जा सकता है। Light और Shadow के बीच सही balance image को अधिक clear और expressive बना सकता है।
Students ने Wide Portrait से लेकर Close-up और Detail Shots तक अलग-अलग framing पर भी अभ्यास किया। इससे उन्हें समझ आया कि camera distance और framing बदलने से portrait का visual effect भी बदल जाता है।
Practical Photography Learning
इस Live Photography Class का मुख्य उद्देश्य theory को practical learning से जोड़ना था। Students ने camera हाथ में लेकर खुद photographs capture कीं। Shooting के दौरान हुई mistakes को समझाया गया और उसी समय उन्हें improve करने का अवसर दिया गया।
इस तरह की practical learning students को photography concepts को वास्तविक shooting situation में समझने में मदद करती है। केवल camera settings पढ़ने के बजाय जब students खुद shoot करते हैं, तो उन्हें Light, Exposure, Focus, Shadow और Composition के बीच का संबंध अधिक स्पष्ट रूप से समझ आता है।
हर अच्छी तस्वीर की शुरुआत केवल Camera से नहीं, बल्कि Light को समझने से होती है।
