PIWF Institute में students के लिए practical learning को ध्यान में रखते हुए “Fundamentals of Cinematography: Every Shot Size Explained” पर एक practical cinematography class आयोजित की गई। इस class का उद्देश्य students को अलग-अलग Cinematography Shot Sizes को practically समझाना और यह बताना था कि storytelling में सही shot size का चुनाव कैसे किया जाता है।
इस practical session का mentorship Amit Kumar Singh Sir ने किया। Class में 30+ students ने participation लिया और Patna Zoo के outdoor environment में cinematography concepts को practically explore किया।
Practical Learning of Cinematography Shot Sizes
Cinematography में सिर्फ camera चलाना ही पर्याप्त नहीं है। एक scene को किस distance से shoot किया जाए, subject को frame में कितना space दिया जाए और shot का purpose क्या हो—इन सभी बातों का storytelling पर सीधा प्रभाव पड़ता है।
इस class में students ने Cinematography Shot Sizes को practical तरीके से समझा। उन्हें बताया गया कि wide, medium और close shots का इस्तेमाल अलग-अलग situations में कैसे किया जाता है और एक ही subject को अलग shot size में capture करने से visual presentation किस तरह बदल सकती है।
Camera and Lens Used in the Class
Practical session के लिए students ने Nikon ZR camera के साथ 50mm f/1.4 lens का इस्तेमाल किया। इस setup के माध्यम से students को subject framing, distance और composition को practically observe करने का मौका मिला।
50mm lens के साथ shooting करते हुए students ने subject को frame में place करने और background को visually manage करने पर भी ध्यान दिया। इससे उन्हें camera और subject के बीच distance के importance को समझने में मदद मिली।
Learning at Patna Zoo
यह cinematography class Patna Zoo में आयोजित की गई, जहाँ students को एक real outdoor environment में practice करने का अवसर मिला। Open location में available subjects और surroundings ने students को different compositions और framing techniques try करने का मौका दिया।
Amit Kumar Singh Sir ने practical approach के साथ students को समझाया कि cinematography में हर shot का एक purpose होना चाहिए। सही shot size चुनना केवल technical decision नहीं, बल्कि visual storytelling का भी हिस्सा है।
Building Practical Cinematography Skills
इस तरह की practical classes students को classroom theory को real shooting environment से जोड़ने में मदद करती हैं। 30+ students की participation के साथ यह session cinematography के fundamentals को समझने और camera handling को practice करने का एक useful opportunity रहा।
